Hi! I’m Dr. Angela Koenig.
BOARD-CERTIFIED GYNECOLOGIST & REGIONAL PELVIC HEALTH SPECIALIST
For the past 10 years, I have had the privilege of caring for women with some of the most complex and often misunderstood concerns within gynecology. These are concerns that can affect women profoundly, yet they are too often undertreated, dismissed, or managed in the brief margins of a busy schedule. I believe deeply that care for these concerns requires something that our current healthcare environment can make difficult to protect: time. Time to listen. Time to educate and answer questions. Time to understand the complexity of a patient’s experience rather than rushing toward the next exam room.
I am drawn to the kind of practice where the relationship between physician and patient is a genuine partnership, where a woman feels truly heard and supported in understanding what comes next. I also believe in the value of education and community, which I hope to foster through group visits and educational sessions like Conversations with Dr. K.
Althea Gynecology & Pelvic Health grew from that vision of a different kind of healthcare experience, one where women can feel comfortable, supported, and confident in the plan moving forward.
